Mowing Instant Turf

Regular mowing at the prefered cutting height is the key to obtaining a thick, healthy carpet-like instant lawn. If the grass is allowed to become abnormally high it should not be cut down to the normal height in one mowing. It will take several weeks to achieve this aim depending on the season.

Ensure your mower blades are kept sharp to reduce the bruising effect on the leaf that mowing causes. Also clean under your mower regularly as this assists the grass to be vacuumed up and thrown into the catcher more easily.

It is desirable to mow your instant lawn when the leaf surface is dry as this will reduce the chance of disease entry into the wound.

See the Technical Data Sheets section for the specific heights of each type of turf.
