What is Kikuyu Instant lawn?

Kikuyu instant lawn is an aggressive growing type of grass which is ideal for lawn areas that are likely to receive high amounts of wear. It is a creeping lawn which spreads long runners across the ground aiding it in repairing any damaged areas quickly especially during the growing season.

What are the benefits of using Kikuyu Instant Lawn?

As well as being ideal for areas of high wear and tear, Kikuyu is very easy to maintain. It is very drought tolerant (can survive without having to water once estabilished) and requires less input with regards to fertiliser and insecticides applications than most other grasses.

Where Is It best Installed?

Kikuyu instant lawns thrive in most soils and prefers full sun. Areas that are subject to high wear, that have potential damage from urine burn from animals and no form of irrigation are very suitable for Kikuyu.

Please note ;

In winter, Kikuyu can go in to dormancy. Colour is best described as lime green turning to grey. Kikuyu will not grow in these months.
