Beneficial Nematodes

Developed and trialled for over 30 years by the CSIRO in Canberra, Entomopathogenic Nematodes (ENs) are a natural and completely non toxic yet highly effective treatment for natural turf pests including Scarabs, Bill Bugs and Argentine Stem Weevil.

The tint organisms that are the EN are held in stasis in a powdery formulation, and only come to life when activated by water, through their application via a conventional spraying system.

The nematode then seeks out the pest that is causing the turf damage, infects it culminating in rapid death and eradication of the problem.

Every year around Australia turfgrass surfaces are effected or totally destroyed by these turf pests and the use of ENs is now a proven, effective and environmentally responsible way to eradicate them.
